Recap

Eldon had the following to say about this year's appearance at Comic-Con:

"I don't know that there's anything I can say about Comic-Con that I haven't said before. The place is a zoo, but always entertaining. So many people to thank, I don't know where to begin. I should probably start with Shawn (thanks for the hotel room!) and Kevin, for making the trek with me; superstar author Vicki Pettersson, Angela ("Sci-Fi Chick"), and Stacey Michaels, for an entertaining evening of dinner, shopping, and ice cream (thanks for the photos, Stacey!); writer Robert Napton, for dinner at Henry's Pub and an invite to some company parties (too bad we live about 30 miles apart but have to drive 150 to get together); Tyler Mane, for lunch at Henry's Pub and some great stories (too bad we live only 7 miles apart...); Shaun Farrell, for the terrific interview (look for it at "adventuresinscifipublishing.com"); fellow screenwriter Jonathan Tostado, for taking time to visit (and for the photo with the Disney girls); Warren and the Fitzpatrick family, for breakfast (no, not at Henry's Pub); Camille Collett and Betsy Mitchell, for letting me loiter at the Suvudu booth; Patrick and Maryelizabeth and everyone associated with Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore; fellow panelists Jim Butcher, Chris Evans, Lynn Flewelling, David Keck, and Jenna Rhodes; the Dabel Bros—Ernst and Les (been too long since I saw y'all); Jim from Barnes & Noble in NY (thanks for the kind words); and... well, countless other folks I'm neglecting to mention. Also, a quick thanks to my brother Neil and his friends Meredith and Cheryl for Sunday dinner (yes, at Henry's Pub again), to our server, Daniele (who must have gotten tired of seeing my face around there), and our beautiful bartender, Lily, for her megawatt smile (shoot me a message some time!); and last but certainly not least, my Uncle Cal and Aunt Linda, for their gracious hospitality. All in all, this was the most fun I've ever had at San Diego Comic-Con, which is saying quite a bit. For once, I'm already looking forward to next year."
