For those who may have missed the news elsewhere, author, webmaster, and all-around fantasy enthusiast Shawn Speakman has announced a couple of cool new projects. One is the publication of his new novel, The Dark Thorn, in hardcover and special leatherbound editions. Along with that, he is producing an anthology entitled Unfettered featuring short stories from some of the best-known fantasy authors out there, all of whom are contributing in order to help Shawn pay off a rash of medical bills resulting from cancer treatment.
