Digging through the closet the other day, I came across an old book, Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey. Anyone else remember these? Amusing sayings that, as far as I know, began as micro segments on “Saturday Night Live.” When I was in college, they were on greeting cards that I mailed to friends (yes, we still used “snail mail” back then). Anyway, I thought it might be fun to help resurrect these immortal words of wisdom by posting one every so often. You can have Confucius. I’ll take “Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey.”
